Automatic Door Engineer – £16‑£22 per hour + Overtime

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Automatic Door Engineer to join a growing team serving Essex and surrounding areas. This full‑time, permanent position involves on‑site work across multiple customer sites, delivering high‑quality installation, service and maintenance of automated door systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, repair, fault‑find and maintain a variety of automated doors.
• Travel to customer locations throughout Essex and surrounding areas.
• Work with doors from multiple manufacturers and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and complete tasks efficiently.
• Support fellow team members when required.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• At least 3 years’ experience in the automatic door sector (preferred but not mandatory).
• Willingness to train across different disciplines.
• Positive attitude and self‑motivation.
