Automotive Customer Service Receptionist – Southampton

About the role
This permanent, full‑time position is based at a busy automotive depot in Southampton. You will be the first point of contact for customers and play a vital part in ensuring smooth service administration across the operation.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and schedule vehicle servicing, tachograph checks and MOT appointments.
- Create and manage work orders, obtain and update order numbers.
- Prepare the night board and coordinate with workshop control to signal incoming work.
- Process retail invoice costing and maintain accurate service records.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic, dynamic personality with a strong customer focus.
- Excellent telephone manner and professional communication skills.
- Pro‑active attitude, pride in work and willingness to learn.
- Interest in building a long‑term career within the automotive sector.
Required skills
- Computer skills for data entry and scheduling.
