AVP Internal Auditor – Banking (London)

About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) Internal Auditor to join the audit function of a leading international bank in London. You will work on end‑to‑end audits across corporate and institutional banking, markets and support functions, interacting regularly with senior business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver audits across the annual plan as part of small, collaborative teams.
- Assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls.
- Draft audit findings and work with business owners on remediation.
- Contribute to risk assessments and continuous monitoring activities.
Required profile
- Internal or external audit experience within banking or financial services.
- A relevant qualification (ACA, CIA, IIA or equivalent) or working towards one.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Curiosity and a willingness to challenge existing processes.
