Azure Data Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an Azure Data Engineer to join a global leader in chemical cleaning and environmental solutions. The role will focus on designing, building and optimising scalable data platforms in Azure to support reporting, analytics and business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Python for efficient data ingestion and transformation.
• Develop and manage data solutions on Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics and related Azure services.
• Support integration and migration of key data sources into the Azure ecosystem.
• Write, optimise and maintain SQL queries for data transformation and processing.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and improve data quality, performance and reliability across the platform.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer delivering cloud‑based solutions.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes, data integration and pipeline development.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with Python or PySpark for data processing.
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus.
