Azure DevOps Engineer – Up to £60k (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join a leading IT consultancy. The role is fully remote and offers a competitive salary of up to £60,000. You will work with a dynamic team to design, build and maintain reliable Azure‑based platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure ongoing platform operation, security, reliability, efficiency and governance.
• Support development and engineering teams in delivering highly available, scalable solutions.
• Deliver and support production and non‑production systems within the Azure ecosystem.
• Continuously improve operational processes, tooling and automation for building, deploying and managing systems.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC implementations.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning and support Azure migration projects.
• Participate in incident management, post‑mortems and root‑cause analysis.
• Provide guidance and training on SRE/DevOps best practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with a broad range of Azure services (compute, networking, storage, database, security, IAM, management tools).
• Strong understanding of DevOps/SRE principles, continuous delivery and complex CI/CD implementations.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep and ARM templates.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfortable working with complexity and unfamiliar challenges.
• Passion for technology, innovation and high‑quality outcomes.
• Azure certification is desirable or a willingness to obtain one.
