B1.3 Licensed Engineer – Helicopter Maintenance (UK)

About the role

Airbus Helicopters UK is seeking B1.3 Licensed Engineers to support the H135 and H145 fleet at RAF Shawbury and RAF Valley. This full‑time, 40‑hour per week position reports to the MFTS Base Maintenance Manager and offers flexible base options with modern shift patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Certify maintenance, repairs and inspections on airframe structures, power plants and mechanical systems.
• Supervise and certify the work of maintenance fitters.
• Ensure compliance with CAA Part 145, Part M and UK ANO regulations.

Required profile

• Valid CAA Part 66 B1.3 (Turbine Rotorcraft) licence.
• Relevant Airbus Helicopters UK type ratings for H135/H145.
• Strong knowledge of UK aviation maintenance standards and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
