B2 Licensed Engineer – Avionics

About the role

Airbus Helicopters UK is expanding its Maintenance, Flight Training and Support (MFTS) team at RAF Shawbury. We are looking for a B2 Licensed Engineer specialising in avionics to join a pioneering 7‑day operation supporting the H135 and H145 fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance inspections, troubleshooting and rectifications on electrical and avionics systems of H135 and H145 helicopters.
• Use specialised test equipment to verify system integrity and airworthiness.
• Collaborate with the MFTS Base Maintenance Manager and other engineers to ensure high aircraft availability.
• Adhere to CAA Part 145, Part M and UK ANO regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Possession of a CAA Part 66 B2 licence (preferred).
• Relevant type ratings for H135 and/or H145 helicopters.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a high‑performance team.
• Commitment to safety, integrity and customer focus.
