About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Back of House Team Members to join Slim Chickens in London’s Russell Square, Brunswick. You will work in a fast‑paced kitchen, preparing our southern‑inspired chicken dishes and ensuring the highest standards of quality and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to perfection, adhering to Slim Chickens’ quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Assist with inventory management, stock rotation and ingredient freshness.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure accurate and timely order preparation.
• Handle kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance needs.
• Support various kitchen tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

Required profile

• Passion for cooking and delivering quality food.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Willingness to learn; previous kitchen experience is a plus.
