Bakery Team Member – Market Street

About the role

Join Morrisons as a Market Street Baker and become the friendly face of our fresh bakery aisle. You will help customers discover high‑quality baked goods while ensuring the shop floor looks inviting and well‑stocked.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain customer confidence by keeping fresh bakery products readily available.
• Create and sustain attractive, high‑standard displays throughout the trading day.
• Prepare a variety of breads, rolls, doughnuts and fruited products to company specifications using specialised equipment.
• Deliver friendly, helpful service that highlights traditional baking skills and fresh offerings.

Required profile

• Friendly, supportive and enjoys meeting new people.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, varied environment.
• Proactive in resolving customer queries and supporting teammates.
• Committed to health & safety standards while handling bakery equipment.
• Competent baker with the ability to mix and mould dough.
• Willing to work flexibly across fresh counters as needed.
