Baler Operative with Counterbalance FLT

About the role
We are seeking a Baler Operative to join our client’s team in Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire. You will operate an automatic baler and use a counter‑balance forklift to move finished bales efficiently throughout the shift.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the automatic baler from the control panel, managing material flow and changing bale wire.
- Monitor baler condition, report any faults to the maintenance team and keep the work area clean and safe.
- Use a counter‑balance forklift to transport bales promptly between the baler and storage areas.
- Record accurate baler data for reporting and complete daily reports.
- Maintain tools and equipment related to baler operations and perform associated cleaning tasks.
Required profile
- Previous experience operating industrial machinery, preferably a baler.
- Eagerness to learn new skills and improve processes.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on daily task management.

What we offer
- £14 per hour
- Full‑time schedule, Monday to Friday, 07:00‑17:00
