Band 5 Psychology Support Officer

About the role

The Band 5 Psychology Support Officer will join the Corporate Psychology team to help develop and deliver professional practice, standards, workforce development and training projects for psychological professionals across the Trust. This is a 22‑month fixed‑term, full‑time position with a strong focus on project coordination and data reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support, co‑ordinate and monitor professional practice, standards and workforce development projects within the Chief Psychologist’s portfolio.
• Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Chief Psychologist and senior psychology leads.
• Monitor and diary project meetings, manage email queries and ensure timely responses.
• Lead workforce project support, including the preparation and submission of workforce data returns.
• Assist with the delivery of education and training initiatives for psychological professionals.

Required profile

• Ability to work autonomously and initiate actions on behalf of senior leads.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in project coordination or similar administrative roles within a healthcare setting is desirable.
