Band 5 Staff Nurse – Dermatology (Salford)

About the role

Join a supportive Dermatology team at Salford Royal as a Band 5 Staff Nurse. You will primarily work in Salford but may be required to cover services at Altrincham and Stockport.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of dermatology clinics and theatre sessions.
• Provide nursing care across a range of dermatology services, including laser, MOHS surgery and patch testing.
• Participate in data collection and contribute to clinical decision‑making.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to set and review patient care goals.

Required profile

• Qualified nurse with experience in dermatology or related specialties.
• Compassionate, motivated and able to communicate effectively with diverse patients.
• Strong analytical and judgement skills for data‑driven decisions.
• Ability to work within professional, ethical and legal nursing frameworks.

Required skills

• Theatre experience (desirable).
• Laser procedure knowledge.
• MOHS surgery familiarity.
• Patch testing competence.
