Band 7 Vascular Scientist – Ultrasound (Full‑time/Temporary)

About the role

Day Webster is recruiting a Band 7 Vascular Scientist to deliver a wide range of ultrasound examinations for a hospital in Essex. The position can be full‑time, part‑time or weekend‑based, with flexible patterns available for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound examinations across multiple specialties.
• Produce accurate imaging reports and communicate findings to clinical teams.
• Work a five‑day week schedule, including weekends as required.
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment in line with departmental standards.
• Adhere to health and safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols.

Required profile

• AVS‑trained Vascular Scientist (or equivalent qualification).
• Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
• Available to start as soon as possible.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends.
