Bank Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care

About the role

IC24 is seeking Bank Advanced Nurse Practitioners to join its Hastings Primary Care Hub. You will provide first‑contact, advanced clinical care to unregistered patients and vulnerable groups, working within a multidisciplinary team to improve health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients presenting with minor illness or undifferentiated symptoms.
• Prescribe medication as an Independent Prescriber, ensuring evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Support individuals experiencing homelessness, temporary accommodation, mental ill health, substance misuse, learning disabilities and other barriers to care.
• Navigate patients to the most appropriate care pathway, including discharge, referral or alternative services.
• Contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with Independent Prescribing qualification.
• Experience in primary‑care or community health settings.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to reducing health inequalities and supporting vulnerable populations.
