Bank Chef (Part‑time) – Healthcare Hospitality

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Chef to join our Bank team on a casual, part‑time basis. You will work in a supportive healthcare environment, preparing fresh, seasonal meals that meet high hotel‑restaurant standards while supporting the wellbeing of our residents.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in designing nutritious, flavourful menus tailored to residents' needs.
• Prepare fresh produce and deliver high‑quality dishes in line with HACCP standards.
• Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, including stock control and budgeting.
• Conduct regular audits and maintain a clean, efficient work area.
• Support and motivate the kitchen team to create a warm, welcoming environment.

Required profile

• Personable, warm approach with genuine interest in resident wellbeing.
• Relevant qualification such as City & Guilds, NVQ or SVQ.
• Experience leading or inspiring a kitchen team.
• Good understanding of nutrition and seasonal food.

Required skills

• HACCP knowledge.
