Bank Clinical Research Nurse – Mobile Research Units

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Bank Clinical Research Nurse to join our mobile research teams across the North West. You will deliver high‑quality participant visits, support recruitment, and ensure rigorous clinical care and data integrity while travelling between sites.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct study‑specific clinical procedures (vital signs, ECGs, phlebotomy, etc.) in line with protocols, GCP and SOPs.
• Support participant recruitment, screening, enrolment and retention in collaboration with site teams.
• Complete case report forms, source documentation and trial logs accurately and on time.
• Maintain safe and efficient mobile unit operations, handling clinical samples and study materials.
• Provide clear information to participants, obtain informed consent and offer ongoing support.
• Escalate clinical or operational issues to senior staff as required.
• Participate in team meetings, training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with an active NMC registration.
• Previous experience in clinical research or trial delivery.
• Knowledge of ICH‑GCP and the clinical research process.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Full UK residency, a valid UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.

Required skills

• ECG performance and interpretation.
• Phlebotomy.
• Use of electronic data capture systems or clinical databases.
