About the role
Gold Care Homes is looking for a Bank Domestic / Housekeeper for its care home, The New Deanery, in Braintree. The home offers personalised care, activities and a community atmosphere for its residents. The position is paid at £12.80 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Clean all allocated rooms, including furniture, fittings, fabric, carpets and equipment
- Clean bathrooms and toilets, following guidelines for the control of germs and infestation
- Keep rooms odour-free
- Follow the COSHH health and safety statement
- Handle waste bags and dispose of them according to prescribed procedures
- Be familiar with the care standards regulations governing the job
- Maintain client and business confidentiality at all times
Required profile
- Experience in a similar role or a similar industry is preferred but not essential
