About the role

Join Cygnet Hospital Taunton as a Bank Housekeeper and help maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff. You will work across the hospital site delivering daily cleaning and housekeeping services.

Key responsibilities

Provide general housekeeping and cleaning services throughout the facility.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all patient and public areas.
Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules and procedures.
Replenish cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is clean and well‑maintained.
Adhere to health and safety policies, including safe working practices.
Comply with COSHH regulations when handling hazardous substances.

Required profile

Experience in housekeeping or domestic work is desirable.
Familiarity with COSHH regulations is a plus.
Friendly, conscientious, and positive attitude.
Good communication skills.

Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
