Bank Nursery Nurse – Flexible Temporary Role in Kent

About the role

We are seeking qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years professionals to work as bank nursery nurses on a temporary, as‑needed basis across early years settings in Chatham, Medway and Rochester, Kent. The role offers flexible daily assignments, allowing you to choose when and where you work while supporting children’s development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care and educational support to children in nursery settings.
• Plan and deliver engaging learning activities appropriate for each child’s needs.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and adhere to safeguarding policies.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff and management.
• Adapt to varying schedules and locations as required.

Required profile

• Level 2 Early Years qualification or higher (Level 3 preferred).
• Relevant experience as a nursery practitioner, nursery nurse, early years educator, nanny or childminder.
• Current DBS clearance.
• Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Flexible, adaptable and a team player.
