Bank Pharmacist – Band 6/7 (Outpatient – Chase Farm)

About the role

The Bank Pharmacist (Band 6/7) will work in the outpatient pharmacy at Chase Farm, delivering high‑quality professional pharmacy services. Reporting to the Senior Pharmacist, you will act as the Responsible Pharmacist, supporting the pharmacy team and contributing to service development and patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective medication supply to out‑patients.
• Act as Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Support the Senior Pharmacist and lead the pharmacy team in daily operations.
• Develop and implement pharmacy policies, service improvements and clinical guidelines.
• Manage financial and physical resources, including stock control and budgeting.
• Oversee information resources and contribute to research and development activities.
• Deliver educational sessions for staff and support professional development.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with appropriate UK pharmacy registration.
• Experience in outpatient or community pharmacy settings.
• Ability to lead, manage resources and support a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality patient and customer experience.
• Understanding of NHS policies, service development and clinical governance.
