Bank Registered Nurse

About the role

The Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking motivated Registered Adult Nurses to join its bank workforce. You will provide patient care across Surgery, Medicine, Urgent Care and Community divisions at multiple health board sites, working a flexible shift pattern that includes nights and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high‑quality nursing care to adult patients in a variety of clinical settings.
• Participate in 12‑hour or three‑shift rotas, covering nights, weekends and on‑call duties as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient assessment, treatment and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to health‑board policies, including the smoke‑free environment policy.

Required profile

• Registered Adult Nurse (NMC‑registered) with a current practising licence.
• Flexible approach to shift work, including willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Commitment to delivering patient‑centred care in a fast‑moving environment.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

Required skills

• Nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
