Bank Registered Nurse – Outpatients (Edinburgh)

About the role

Spire Shawfair Park Hospital is seeking a Bank Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality outpatient care. The role is flexible, supporting busy periods, sickness cover or annual leave, and is based on‑site in Edinburgh.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' health and wellbeing needs in an outpatient setting.
• Provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote a safe, secure, and health‑focused working environment.
• Support equality, diversity and patient rights.
• Use physical and financial resources efficiently.
• Recognise and help prevent Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) as agreed with line manager.

Required profile

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Experience working in the independent healthcare sector.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
