Bank Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) – Care Home (Flexible)

About the role

This casual, part‑time Bank Registered Nurse role supports residents in a Barchester care home, delivering safe, person‑centred care across physical, psychological and social needs. You will work flexibly, covering shifts as required and using your clinical judgement to make critical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop tailored care plans.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and update them regularly.
• Administer medication safely in line with best practice.
• Provide a safe, supportive environment for residents with diverse needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality care.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Strong knowledge of up‑to‑date clinical practices.
• Experience creating comprehensive care plans and risk assessments.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Compassionate, person‑centred approach to nursing.
