About the role

Join HCRG Care Group as a Bank Senior Children’s Community Carer, providing high‑quality care and support to children with complex medical needs in their homes and the community. This senior, bank‑based position offers hybrid working, allowing you to split time between a Surrey office hub and community visits while mentoring fellow carers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver consistent, high‑quality care to children and young people with complex health and well‑being needs, following care plans and safeguarding procedures.
• Communicate effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams, reporting any changes in condition.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to colleagues, supporting their professional development.
• Contribute to service‑improvement initiatives and share innovative ideas.
• Maintain professional boundaries and ensure compliance with CQC standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience caring for children with complex medical needs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with families and health professionals.
• Commitment to safeguarding and delivering person‑centred care.
• Willingness to travel within Surrey and adapt to hybrid working patterns.

Required skills

• Knowledge of care planning and safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to assess and respond to changes in a child's condition.
