Barista – Luxury Hotel Café

About the role

Join the timeless Rosebery restaurant at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park as a Barista. You will work in a world‑class luxury hotel, delivering high‑quality teas, coffees and other beverages to discerning guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees and teas, to the hotel’s exacting standards.
• Maintain mise en place for the coffee service, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready for each shift.
• Serve drinks to tables, explain menu items and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Communicate guest preferences and special requests efficiently to the service team.
• Work a rotating shift pattern (morning, evening, weekends and bank holidays) covering 39 hours per week.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Previous experience in a similar hospitality or barista role is preferred.
• Flexibility to work varied shift patterns, including weekends and holidays.
