Behaviour Analyst – Colchester

About the role

We are seeking a Behaviour Analyst to join a well‑established adult social care provider in Colchester. The role will support the delivery and embedding of positive behaviour support across services, helping people lead active and fulfilling lives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of the organisation's positive behaviour support framework across services.
• Supervise and support Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioners.
• Collaborate with the Regional Leadership Team to improve outcomes for service users and colleagues.
• Deliver Active Support and PBS training and monitor outcomes and impact.
• Provide high‑quality, best‑practice approaches to achieve person‑centred goals.
• Work with services to reduce the use of restrictive practices.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team, communicating effectively.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis or Positive Behaviour Support.
• BCBA or UKBA certification.
• Willingness to register with UK‑SBA (or already registered).
• Minimum one year experience working in social care.
• Experience developing Positive Behaviour Support plans and interventions.
• Experience working within multi‑disciplinary teams.
