Bid Manager - Architecture & Design

About the role

A globally recognised architecture and design firm, active in London and beyond, is looking for an experienced Bid Manager. The role shapes business development strategy, drives new opportunities and ensures high-quality bid submissions, working closely with senior leaders, sector specialists and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leadership on business development initiatives
• Create high-quality bid and proposal submissions aligned with brand standards
• Track and coordinate local business development, including RFQs, RFPs and interview materials
• Research market trends, client needs and competitor activity
• Gather content, case studies and project imagery with project teams
• Oversee communications around bids, marketing and industry events, and support conference attendance, award submissions and project photography
• Maintain marketing resources and coordinate cross-functional teams on proposals and presentations
• Assist with professional accreditation and award submissions

Required profile

• Degree in Journalism, Graphic Design, Marketing or a related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in bid management, marketing or business development in architecture, engineering or construction
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills, with experience producing bid documents
• Excellent organisation and multitasking, with strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, collaborative approach, able to work independently and in a team
• Knowledge of architecture, interior design or the built environment is highly desirable

Required skills

• InDesign (essential)
• Photoshop and Illustrator (a plus)
