Bid/Social Value Coordinator

About the role

We are a growing construction company based in Plymouth looking for a Bid/Social Value Coordinator. The role is pivotal in delivering high‑quality bid submissions while embedding meaningful social‑value outcomes across our projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the preparation of bid and tender submissions, with a focus on social‑value content.
• Develop and write social‑value responses aligned with client requirements and procurement frameworks.
• Work closely with the Directors to plan and implement the social‑value strategy.
• Research client requirements and tailor responses to maximise scoring potential.
• Support the development and tracking of social‑value commitments across live projects.
• Ensure all submissions are high quality, consistent, and delivered within deadlines.
• Engage with the local community to achieve social‑value goals and targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Social Value or Bids role within the South West, ideally in construction or engineering.
• Confident, proactive and able to work independently.
• Willingness to attend networking events and social‑value initiatives.
• Excellent written communication with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Commercially aware and passionate about making a difference.
