BIM Coordinator – MEP (Manchester, Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join our Manchester team. Working in a hybrid setting, you will create and maintain coordinated building information models that support design, construction, and manufacturing processes for MEP systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regular coordination review meetings using 3D models to discuss variations and forecast costs.
• Produce detailed drawings from 3D models for design, installation, and manufacturing stages.
• Translate engineers' calculations, sketches, and drawings into accurate, structured BIM models, incorporating NG Bailey Offsite solutions where possible.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all MEP systems to ensure optimized, CDM‑compliant solutions.
• Visit construction sites to understand installation practices and improve modelling effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proven experience in BIM coordination within an MEP environment.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to think creatively.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of guiding clients with limited BIM knowledge.
