BIM Manager – Asset Information Management

About the role

We are seeking a BIM Manager to lead the development of a digital “golden thread” of asset information across our client’s estate. Working hybrid from Leeds, you will shape BIM strategy, ensure compliance with the UK BIM Framework and deliver high‑quality data for handover into operational asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive BIM strategy in line with BS EN ISO 19650 and the UK BIM Framework.
• Develop, maintain and govern asset information standards such as AIRs, EIRs, COBie and IFC.
• Oversee BIM assurance activities, including model audits, quality checks and compliance validation.
• Integrate BIM outputs with CAFM/IWMS systems and support lifecycle asset management.
• Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure effective data handover.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and performance monitoring for the BIM team.
• Engage stakeholders across internal departments, supply‑chain partners and government bodies.
• Drive innovation initiatives such as digital twin development.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering BIM strategy and compliance to ISO 19650.
• Strong experience with asset information standards (AIR, EIR, COBie, IFC).
• Extensive BIM assurance background, including audits and quality control.
• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Experience integrating BIM data with CAFM/IWMS platforms.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and coordination skills.
• Leadership experience within BIM or digital delivery teams.
