About the role

This board‑level Marketing Director position sits at the heart of a fast‑growing B2B utilities business. You will own the end‑to‑end marketing function, shaping strategy, creating high‑impact content, and driving revenue‑focused campaigns while working directly with the founders and executive team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the B2B marketing function, covering digital, customer acquisition and insight‑driven campaign strategy.
• Design and execute a 5‑year marketing roadmap aligned with commercial growth targets and market positioning.
• Produce and refine core sales and marketing assets such as pitch decks, proposals, campaign messaging and thought‑leadership pieces.
• Craft compelling product propositions, customer‑facing campaigns and incentive programmes that boost revenue and retention.
• Manage and mentor a small internal team and specialist contractors, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Commercially sharp with a proven ability to link marketing activities to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
• Hands‑on senior marketer comfortable creating content as well as directing strategy.
• Thrives in fast‑moving, lean environments where ownership and results are paramount.
