Bonds, Guarantees and Indemnities Billing Analyst

About the role

Barclays is seeking a Bonds, Guarantees and Indemnities (BGI) Billing Analyst to manage correspondence queries related to BGIs worldwide. The role supports Trade and Working Capital operations, requiring strong attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Review and manage all BGI correspondence queries on behalf of Barclays Group.
• Support day‑to‑day Trade and Working Capital initiatives, including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
• Monitor Trade and Working Capital activities to ensure efficiency, regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align processes and integrate improvements.
• Identify areas for process enhancement and provide recommendations.
• Develop and implement procedures, controls and reporting tools to mitigate risk.
• Prepare performance reports and presentations for senior internal stakeholders.
• Participate in projects aimed at increasing operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Required profile

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize workload and meet urgent deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with clear oral and written communication.
• Team‑player who can also work independently when required.
• High level of attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• General banking experience and interest in AI technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, etc.).
