Branch Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Newport NAPA Auto Parts store. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing margins, and delivering first‑class service to our customers while enjoying full autonomy over the branch’s daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve branch sales, margin, and promotional targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Lead, motivate and develop the branch team to meet performance goals.
• Control running costs, stock levels, and cash handling procedures.
• Oversee stock taking, adjustments, and inventory accuracy.
• Implement health and safety standards within the depot.
• Support senior management with policy implementation and procedural compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the automotive parts industry, preferably as a Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager.
• Strong leadership and team‑motivation abilities.
• Excellent communication skills at all organisational levels.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, sales‑focused environment.
• Knowledge of the local market and customer base is advantageous.

Required skills

• Experience using online and Windows‑based cataloguing systems.
