Branch Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Branch Manager to run a busy automotive garage in Oldham. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, support technical and customer‑service teams, and ensure the branch meets its financial and service quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day branch activities, ensuring profitability and high service standards.
• Lead and motivate a team of technicians and customer‑service staff.
• Handle customer interactions, resolve technical or service issues promptly.
• Allocate workload efficiently and monitor team performance.
• Maintain health‑and‑safety compliance and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a busy garage or similar automotive environment.
• Strong leadership with a focus on team motivation and development.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workloads effectively.
• Excellent problem‑solving, organisational and communication skills.
• Experience with teams of 5‑6 technicians; independent garage background preferred but dealership experience also considered.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of automotive systems.
