Brand Manager (FTC 9-12 months maternity cover)

About the role
We are seeking a Brand Manager to cover a 9‑12 month maternity leave for a well‑recognised global FMCG drinks brand. The role is hybrid, based in Hemel Hempstead, and starts as soon as possible. You will lead the Accelerating Innovation agenda across multiple channels, working closely with the brand marketing community.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute brand strategy that drives innovation and growth.
- Manage the brand P&L, ensuring profitability and value creation.
- Collaborate with third‑party creative and activation agencies and strategic partners.
- Lead strategic brand and business planning, using consumer and shopper insights.
- Oversee project management, planning and delivery of brand initiatives.
- Inspire and develop team members within a matrix organisation.
Required profile
- Proven brand leadership experience in FMCG, preferably on a significant scale brand.
- Strong track record of delivering brand‑led growth and profitability.
- Experience managing brand P&L and driving brand equity.
- Ability to work in a commercial, matrix environment and influence cross‑functional teams.
- Demonstrated team‑management skills with a focus on development and inspiration.
