Brand Manager – Innovation (9‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading FMCG Food & Beverage business to find an experienced Brand Manager to cover a 9‑month maternity leave. This hybrid role (London/home‑based) offers the chance to lead high‑impact brand projects and bring new products to market within a fast‑moving consumer environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional brand projects from planning through execution, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines and commercial objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Marketing, Sales, Category, Finance, Supply Chain, R&D and external agency partners.
• Support the development and execution of annual brand plans and marketing strategies.
• Deliver product launches, brand campaigns and commercial initiatives across multiple channels.
• Manage external agencies to ensure campaigns are on time, within budget and of high quality.
• Use consumer, shopper and market insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor campaign performance and make data‑driven recommendations for optimisation.
• Support innovation and NPD initiatives, working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Current experience as a Brand Manager or Senior Brand Manager in FMCG or consumer products.
• Proven project‑management skills delivering complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• Strong commercial awareness and an organised, delivery‑focused approach.
• Experience launching products, campaigns or major brand initiatives.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with innovation or NPD projects is advantageous but not essential.
