About the role
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Breakfast Club Assistant to join our before‑school team at St Gregory's Primary School. You will help create a safe, welcoming environment where children can enjoy a nutritious start to their day and prepare for lessons.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure children are safe, happy and well‑supported during the breakfast period.
- Encourage positive play, social interaction and language development.
- Assist the Club Leader with daily activities and supervision.
- Help prepare and serve breakfast, with training provided if required.
Required profile
- Reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable.
- Committed to the welfare and development of young children.
- Available to work 3 hours 45 minutes each weekday (8:00 am‑8:45 am).
Required skills
What we offer
- Permanent part‑time contract (3 h 45 m per week, 38 weeks per year).
- Salary band Dorset Grade 5, pay point 5‑6 (£25,583‑£25,989 per annum, pro‑rated).
