Breton Bilingual Expert (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Breton Bilingual Expert to support our multilingual projects. The role is fully remote and requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe multimedia content with high linguistic accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
• Accurately mark timestamps to ensure precise reference points.
• Analyze and describe emotional tone and speaker intent.
• Conduct nuanced analysis of grammar, vocabulary, and linguistic tone.
• Define conceptual meanings of words and phrases while capturing subtle distinctions.
• Prepare clear written and verbal reports supporting linguistic and analysis tasks.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver high‑quality linguistic outputs across use cases.

Required profile

• Fluency in Breton and English, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated experience in transcription, language analysis, or related linguistic work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deep understanding of cultural and emotional context within language.
• Commitment to at least 15 hours per week.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities applied to language tasks.
• Academic background in linguistics, translation, or language studies is a plus.
• Experience with language annotation or NLP‑related projects is advantageous.
• Familiarity with digital tools used in remote linguistic work is preferred.
