Brickwork Trainer/Assessor – Full‑Time

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Brickwork Trainer/Assessor to join our team in East London. You will deliver both practical and theoretical training to learners pursuing Brickwork Apprenticeships, ensuring high‑quality instruction and assessment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and assess learners across all Brickwork apprenticeship competencies.
• Keep training materials up‑to‑date and aligned with regulatory standards.
• Adapt delivery methods to overcome learning barriers and meet individual needs.
• Provide guidance on career progression and decision‑making.
• Motivate learners, monitor attendance and track progress through regular assessments.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Brickwork.
• Extensive bricklaying experience on new‑build projects, including 1st and 2nd fix work.
• Proven experience delivering Brickwork Apprenticeships or on‑the‑job mentoring.
• Willingness to undertake teaching and assessing qualifications (funded by the client).
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Confident, professional demeanor with the ability to inspire learners.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
