Business Analyst Graduate Programme

About the role

LSEG's Business Analyst Graduate Programme starts in September 2027 and offers a springboard into global financial markets. Successful graduates join the Markets division on a rotational programme, combining Capital Markets and Post Trade businesses. The programme is aimed at students of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, or of Finance and Economics with a strong interest in FinTech and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Work in Financial Risk teams, monitoring and analysing risks and interpreting data for risk projects and reporting
• Support existing products by researching, tracking and testing content and user interfaces of online products
• Carry out research analysis on global markets, such as debt listings, valuations and shareholder and geographic analysis

Required profile

• Graduate of a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline, or a final-year undergraduate or Master's student, having completed all qualification requirements by September 2027
• Demonstrable interest in financial markets built through study, work experience or extracurricular activities
• Ideal candidates have the right to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the programme

Required skills

• Comfortable with large data sets and able to code in Python and SQL, or understand tools such as Tableau and Power BI
• Curiosity for data, analytical thinking and strategic thinking
• Focus, resilience and flexibility in a fast-paced environment, and strong collaboration and communication skills
