Business Analyst – Investment Management (AML Programme)

About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a global investment management firm on a six‑month contract to support a multi‑year EU anti‑money‑laundering (AML) programme. The role is hybrid, with four days per week in the Central London office, and may be extended based on project needs.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to deliver transformation projects.
• Analyse and implement new EU AML regulations, ensuring compliance across business processes.
• Gather, document and translate high‑level requirements into actionable solutions.
• Conduct gap analyses, impact assessments and define future‑state models.
• Liaise with stakeholders, architects and technical teams to ensure seamless execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within asset or investment management.
• Strong expertise in requirement gathering, validation, prioritisation and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with client onboarding processes such as CDD, EDD and KYC, and regulatory frameworks like AML.
• Excellent communication skills for bridging business and technical teams.
