Business Analyst – Secure Digital Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to help design, build and deliver secure digital solutions for defence and national security missions. The role works closely with engineers, architects and delivery specialists to enable faster, safer decision‑making in highly secure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, develop and document functional and non‑functional requirements for platforms and applications, including entity diagrams.
• Advocate and implement best practices, providing guidance and education to colleagues and clients.
• Apply industry‑standard methodologies and patterns suited to the technology and domain.
• Act as a liaison between IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure technical capabilities meet business objectives.
• Offer platform and process expertise to support delivery teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilise data analytics to inform decision‑making and enhance business outcomes.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.

Required skills

• Experience with Jira.
• Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and Kanban methodologies.
