Business Controller – Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

As a Business Controller you will be responsible for the financial health of Cathelco Limited, the flagship entity of the Evac Group business line. You will work closely with local, regional and group finance teams to deliver accurate planning, forecasting and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate financial planning, forecasting and monthly reporting for Cathelco Limited in line with Business Line and Group Finance requirements.
• Manage group reporting submissions, including Order Intake, Orderbook, Sales Flash and Internal Sales Margin Review.
• Submit the local monthly result to Group Finance via the Tagetik reporting tool, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and the group accounting manual.
• Coordinate the 15‑month rolling forecast and annual budget cycles, entering data into Tagetik.
• Lead Percentage of Completion (POC) calculations for large projects and work with Project Managers to ensure financial accuracy.
• Provide performance analysis through actual vs. target tracking, S&OE reports and order intake insights.
• Drive improvements in reporting quality, standardisation and process efficiency.
• Support Business Line financial planning with ad‑hoc analysis, scenario modelling and contributions to Evac Board reports.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in financial planning, forecasting and reporting.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards and ability to follow a group accounting manual.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams across different countries.
• Experience handling large‑scale project finance, including Percentage of Completion calculations.
