Business Development Executive – Drinks Brands

About the role

Represent market‑leading drinks brands such as Smirnoff, Guinness and Gordon’s for Diageo in the off‑trade retail sector. You will work for CPM, covering a wide territory in West Yorkshire and surrounding areas, building relationships with key grocery multiples.

Key responsibilities

• Visit off‑trade multiple retailers (ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons) on a face‑to‑face basis.
• Advise store stakeholders on promotions, increase brand awareness and drive sales.
• Check stock levels, resolve issues and ensure agreed shelf space and displays are in place.
• Develop bespoke business plans using local market knowledge and in‑store data.
• Report calls on a tablet, share competitor information and track achievements.

Required profile

• Passionate about a sales career in the drinks industry and representing premium brands.
• Tenacious, commercially minded and able to analyse in‑store data.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence decision‑makers.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
