Business Development Executive – Drive Growth & Client Relationships

About the role

Our client is seeking a Business Development Executive to accelerate commercial growth by building strong client relationships, generating new opportunities and guiding enquiries through to successful contracts. You will work closely with both external customers and internal teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing clients to promote the company’s service portfolio.
• Manage quoted opportunities, following up regularly to move them through the sales pipeline.
• Identify and propose additional services to current clients, expanding account value.
• Re‑engage dormant or under‑developed accounts to revive business potential.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate scoping and delivery of services.
• Attend client meetings, respond to commercial enquiries and maintain detailed activity records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, account management, sales support or a similar client‑facing role.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to opportunity generation.
• Highly organised, capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Comfortable working collaboratively across diverse teams.
