Business Development Executive

About the role

Abbatt Property Recruitment is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to grow its presence in the residential property sector across London. This field‑based role combines client relationship management with proactive prospecting, allowing you to spend most of your time out of the office meeting people and building the Abbatt brand.

Key responsibilities

• Visit existing client sites across London to ensure placed workers are satisfied and performing well.
• Identify and approach new client sites, introduce Abbatt’s recruitment services and generate new business.
• Deliver marketing materials, represent the Abbatt brand on‑site, and collect market intelligence.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date CRM with activity notes and pipeline information.
• Build and manage your own sales pipeline, earning commission on the revenue you generate.

Required profile

• Outgoing, confident and enjoys talking to people.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in the field.
• Ability to travel around London using public transport.
• One to two years of experience in lettings, property management, hospitality or another client‑facing role.
• Basic understanding of residential property is a plus.

• Basic salary £30,000‑£35,000 per year (depending on experience).
• Uncapped commission OTE £5,000‑£10,000+.
