Business Development Manager (Automotive Research)

About the role

A global market intelligence and growth advisory business, represented by Aspire, is looking for a Business Development Manager in automotive research. The business helps organisations identify emerging markets, understand competitors and find new revenue opportunities, combining industry research, proprietary data and AI-powered intelligence platforms. The role is based in London (hybrid) and is paid £55,000 to £65,000 per year, with total on-target earnings of £80,000 to £90,000.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full enterprise sales cycles, from prospecting and discovery through demonstrations, proposals, negotiations and deal closure.
• Position propositions as strategic decision-support platforms, engaging senior executives on growth, competitive and revenue challenges.
• Build strategic enterprise relationships, represent the company at industry events and collaborate with product, research and GTM leadership.

Required profile

• Enterprise B2B sales experience selling SaaS, AI, data, analytics, intelligence or research platforms.
• Proven ability to drive net-new customer acquisition through outbound prospecting and strategic account development.
• Confident engaging Director, VP and SVP stakeholders, with strong consultative storytelling and complex enterprise sales experience.
