Business Development Manager – Debt Advisory (Milton Keynes)

About the role

Ambition Europe Limited is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its growing Debt Advisory team. You will work with SME and owner‑managed businesses, originating new opportunities and delivering end‑to‑end advisory support.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through internal referrals (≈50%) and external relationships such as accountants, lawyers and personal networks (≈50%).
• Build and maintain a strong introducer network within the SME/owner‑managed market.
• Assess client funding requirements and recommend appropriate financing solutions.
• Prepare and present high‑quality information packs for lenders.
• Manage lender discussions, negotiations and credit processes.
• Act as a trusted advisor, supporting clients beyond the initial transaction.

Required profile

• Proven track record in business development or relationship management within banking, professional services, asset‑based lending, debt advisory or commercial finance.
• Experience working with SME or owner‑managed businesses.
• Ability to originate, structure and deliver deals end‑to‑end.
• Strong commercial mindset and comfort working in a target‑led environment.
