Business Development Manager – Exeter – Up to £53k OTE

About the role

Yell is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to join its Field Sales team in Exeter. You will be responsible for driving new business and expanding existing relationships within the digital marketing sector, helping local businesses achieve their growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new clients through self‑sourced and company‑provided leads.
• Conduct face‑to‑face and virtual consultations to understand customer needs and propose tailored digital marketing solutions.
• Present, negotiate and close deals with new and existing clients.
• Maintain client relationships for up to 12 months post‑sale, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Analyse performance data to identify growth opportunities and improve client ROI.

Required profile

• Proven track record in field sales or high‑performing telesales.
• Strong relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
• Resilient, positive attitude and ability to overcome objections.
• Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than six points.
