Business Development Manager – Fasteners (Industrial)

About the role

We are a historic industrial fasteners and fixing systems business seeking a proactive Senior Business Development Manager to drive aggressive growth across the Midlands and North of the UK. This field‑based role will see you hunting new opportunities and expanding our footprint in a range of sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and win new customers within your territory.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and market‑map target accounts.
• Contribute to the regional sales strategy and pipeline forecasting.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure.
• Develop and nurture existing accounts to maximise revenue.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and market shifts.

Required profile

• Technical or business qualification, or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Proven ability to manage your own diary and prospect defined markets with minimal supervision.
• Strong drive to continuously chase the next sale.
• Experience across sectors such as consumer electronics, medical, renewable energy, automotive, aerospace, etc., is desirable.
